Keep the Kleenex Handy for LOST

Apparently [according to E!’s Watch with Kristen] LOST watchers need to keep the tissues handy because there is going to be a signifiant death on the show coming up:

I hate to be the bearer of bad—no, make that gut-wrenching—news, but I would definitely keep the Kleenex box on standby for the next few episodes. I’m told that one of them is a game-changer, in which we will see some serious tragedy. As in, loss of life. As in, life that the fans truly, truly care about. I’m tearing up just thinking about it so…Get ready.

Who do you think it’s going to be?  I’m actually kind of leaning towards Jack (he’s been slacking the last 2 seasons in my opinion)  It better not  be Hurley…

Well at Least it Won’t be Instant Withdrawal

Are you already having panic attacks about the series finale of LOST?  Well we can hold for a little longer.  It has been announced that Jimmy Kimmel Live! will do an all out tribute to LOST including an appearance of executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, and live interviews with several of the show’s cast members (to be announced at a later date).

I wonder what they will be able to say since  the writers have already said that they will not make any post-LOST interviews and will not explain anything…  hmmm

[this has nothing to do with it, but it’s a Jimmy Kimmel spoof involving LOST]

Watch it May 23rd on ABC at 11:35pm EST

Possible (but not really) LOST Spoilers

The Ausiello Files on EW recently posted some answers to questions that LOST writers answered at TV Fest ’10.  The season finale is currently being writtn by Damon Lindelof &  Carlton Cuse and will be directed by Jack Bender

Here are some of the highlights I found interesting (if you really don’t want to know anything do not continue reading past this picture):

Ok, are we safe now?  Really if you don’t want to know look away, and don’t say I didn’t warn you…

The answer is “yes” to the following: Will Richard and Ilana exchange some words soon? Will we see another painting by Bender? Do some of the characters’ last names have significance, particularly Jack’s? Is Jack married to someone we’ve met before? Was Jacob telling the truth when he said someone was coming to the island? Will we learn more about Hurley and Libby’s connection? Will we see Vincent and Charlie again? Will we learn if Desmond was really on the plane?

The answer is “no” to the following: Will we get a conclusion to the story of Ben’s love, Annie? Do the purple circles in Bender’s mural mean anything? Did Juliet’s ex-husband get killed by a smoke bus? Will there be a DVD release of the show in chronological order?

The answer is “maybe” to the following: Will the Hurley bird be explained? Will we see Walt again?

The answer is “no comment” to the following: Will we learn why women can’t have babies on the island?

Radio silence: After being bombarded with questions about the show for six years, Cuse said they do not plan on commenting on the series finale after it airs.

Final spoiler from Lindelof: “Water.”
