Lauren Graham Come Back…

So Parenthood premieres tonight on NBC at 10pm EST.  I’m excited because I miss Lauren Graham on television, but I’m nervous.  Why?  Well because every preview makes the show look like a slightly more serious version of Modern Family.

Originally Lauren Graham’s role was supposed to be played by Maura Tierney, but she had to drop out for health reasons.  This pushed production back, but apparently the show is supposed to be good *fingers crossed*

There was good news for the show as it was set to premiere this fall, but with the changes it was pushed back.  I’m just hoping Ron Howard does not let me down…

i agree with the more serious modern family comment. i also think it’s an answer to abc’s brothers and sisters (but possibly less dramatic). maybe they’ll strike a good balance.

thank goodness lauren graham is coming back to television! i recently watched some gilmore girls season five because it had been too long.

also, i’m really excited to see peter krause in a series again. i loved him in six feet under and in sports night.

Peter Krause has been getting excellent reviews! I have actually read a couple reviews too that have compared it to brothers and sisters…
